Dying Easter Eggs

This is one of those activities I always wonder why I even bother, but the kids have so much fun and it makes me feel like a good mom.

In case you wondered, the dye tablets opened prematurely by a big sister look just like candy. This is what a half eaten one looks like dissolved in vinegar. My son just looked like a vampire and needed immediate sink attention so it was not documented.

The concentration here was adorable. Almost worth my anxiety from envisioning the colored spills. Not quite, but almost.

EGG!

Yikes! I should have reread my comment before posting it! Let me try that again:

I'm sad you didn't get a picture of vampire M! I spy Tillamook yogurt containers. I've never tried their yogurt, but from what I know iof their ice cream and cheese skills I'm sure their yogurt is divine! You're a good mom for doing this with them. They'll have good memories, even if it's messy for you :)

There is magic in coloring eggs! You are a great Mom for allowing this activity in spite of the inevitable stains and spills.

Agreed! It makes me tremble in my socks in anxiety... So good for you! I can't blame him for thinking it was candy. Poor guy probably got the shock of his life!
