1) 1 year olds are still charged for admission. SERIOUSLY?!!! That is the dumbest thing ever.
2) Admission for a 1 year old is $11. You have got. to. be. kidding.
3) They close at 4pm. We got there around 2:45 but didn't find this out until we heard the announcement on the intercom. I thought they would be open until around 7pm since my friend who told me about it went on a Friday night. Apparently that is only on the first Friday of the month
Planning fail.
The kids had a blast though. They have a pretty big area just for kids under 3. Of course our children didn't want to play with each other or be anywhere near each other at the same time, I didn't even get to chat with my cousin as much as I planned.
Then I uploaded these pictures and realized, the museum wasn't just for me to get out of the house with a friend, it was for her. And by that reasoning, the adventure was a roaring success.
I always preferred to sit like this as a kid too |

Ah I love that museum! And yes - I remember the day I realized the outings just weren't for me anymore. Now my kids have all these opinions and things THEY want to do every day. What happened to my baby that just accompanied me wherever I wanted? lol .. and yes $11 for a one year old is CRAZY! Have you been to AMY? Arizona Museum for Youth in Mesa? It is so awesome for little ones. I used to have a pass and I think it was well worth it.
It bugs me how much they charge for such little ones at places like this. But we love our Childrens' Museum too and go there all the time (we have a pass since it is so expensive to go that a year pass pays for itself in about 2.5 visits).
Roaring success! Jaela looks like she's enjoying herself! She is so beautiful.
That was so fun!! Thanks for taking us!!!
Way cool! I have now decided I must go there before i die.
