The night ended snuggling with Grandpa

But before that, we tried out Piper's latest weirdness from her Japanese candy subscription. This one had powders that you mixed with water and microwaved in little molds. It wasn't sweet, but actually pizza flavored. Those little squares tasted like potatoes, the grape soda actually fizzed, and the pizza tasted like reconstituted pizza. I imagine this is what 3D printed food tastes like, but it sure was fun!

Madre Dos found these delightfully weird Brady Bunch beanie babies as she was sorting through her things.  J insisted I take a picture of them. She loved them, but I found them awesomely creepy.

The weather was gorgeous and the kids loved using the watering cans.

We are so lucky to have so much family near by!
