How To Tell If Your Dog is Raising Your Child
1) Your child continues to make a noise that sounds like panting. (to recreate this sound, breathe out through your mouth 5 times in quick succession).
2) After mastering spoon feeding, she insists on lapping it up from the bowl instead.
3) The dog gets far more giggles than any funny faces or noise you make can illicit.
4) She has a preference for being on all fours (toes, not knees)
5) She cries when the dog leaves.
6) She drools excessively and prefers to have her mouth hang open.
7) She likes to chew on gatorade bottles (dog's toy of choice, second only to the peanut butter jars). She also beelines to the dog toy despite the abundance of baby toys around her.
8) She enjoys licking your face
9) She kicks one leg when she's happy
10) Your dog and your daughter are best friends. (Note the leg kicking)
* I started this post a few weeks ago and my baby looks so different already! Those clothes don't fit her anymore!

ReplyDeleteCutest! It is so sweet how babies get so attached to their animals. My niece was the same way with their family dog. The panting sounds she made were my favorite. I'm thinking we need a dog.
